The St. Joseph School Endowment Fund is a very important resource. The Endowment Fund Trustees oversee this resource.

Therefore, St. Joseph School depends on three sources of income to maintain its operation:

• a subsidy from the parish
• tuition from parents
• earnings from the Endowment Fund

Donations received for the Endowment Fund are pooled into a common fund and invested perpetually. The capital is never used. Only the annual income generated by this fund is used for the direct operating expenses of the school, including teacher salaries.

At the present time, the fund provides about 25% of the school income.
