Rev. Thomas Gillespie was born in Janesville, Wisconsin. He attended high school at Queen of Apostles Seminary in Madison (1960-1964). He then attended college at Holy Name Seminary in Madison (1965). He then graduated from St. Francis Seminary in Milwaukee with an emphasis in Philosophy and Theology (1966-1972).

Rev. Gillespie was ordained into the priesthood by Bishop Cletus O'Donnell at St. Raphael Catherdral in Madison on May 12, 1972.

Hobbies and Interests
Rev. Gillespie enjoys reading and traveling. He can also be seen doing his walking workout throughout the City of Waterloo.
