	Rev. Nicholas J. Feyereisen succeeded Rev. Joseph U. Braig in 1965. Rev. Feyereisen was pastor of St. Joseph Parish for six years.





		Remodeling St. Joseph Church The project of remodeling the interior of St. Joseph Church, in keeping with the post-councilar guidelines, was completed in 1966 at the cost of $2,738. The changes encompassed: The communion rail was removed The Altar of Sacrifice facing the people was placed in the sanctuary Gold carpeting was installed in the sanctuary Church proper and sanctuary was repainted Custom furnishings designed by Hotmar Construction Company Ladies Altar Sodality added the finishing touches to the beautification of the sanctuary During Rev. Feyereisen's tenure, the membership of St. Joseph Parish increased to almost 900 parishioners.
